What this website is

Safari Shortlist is a free information service for comparing safari lodges. It is a private, non-commercial project run by Vincent Vath, Wals-Siezenheim, Austria (see the imprint).

We don't take bookings

We do not sell travel, make bookings or take payments. If you book, your contract is with the lodge or booking partner, on their terms and conditions. Questions about a booking go to them.

Prices and information

Rates and details come from the published sources named on each lodge page. Prices in other currencies are converted at mid-market exchange rates, and "all-in" figures add the known levies and transfers to the published rate, so they are estimates. Information can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and we cannot guarantee availability, prices or accuracy. Always confirm the details with the lodge or booking partner before you book.

Maps and reserve boundaries are approximate. Photos are representative and were not taken at the lodges shown. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

Liability

This website is provided free of charge for general information. We are liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. This does not limit liability for personal injury or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
